Falcon Trail!!

Falcon trail is a signature local ride, but base access has been limited and cumbersome. We have been able to get two DOD card members (thanks Bob and Jason) to go Sunday afternoon, and we can carpool into 2 trucks to get on base. With drivers and card holders that leaves 6 open spots, so signup is first come first served, unless we have others with base access.

We will meet at the Hotel Polaris parking lot. This is west of I-25 at the Northgate exit, then left/south at the roundabout. The road loops around the hotel to the South and East. We will meet at the far SE corner of the lot and Truck-pool from there. Bring your drivers license or ID!

Falcon Trail is a 13+ mile loop with 1,300 ft of climbing with about 600 of that near the halfway point. Trees, meadows, rollers, stream crossings, and great downhill. Typically 1 1/2-2 hours.
