MMB's,

Ridgeline in early spring just hits — crisp air, tacky dirt, and those rolling Castle Rock ridgelines waking back up for the season. Saturday’s shaping up with cooler temps, which is basically Mother Nature saying “go ride.”

Ridgeline Loop is always a favorite, and for good reason. The Phillip Miller / Ridgeline Open Space combo dishes out 12 miles of punchy, up‑and‑down singletrack that never really lets you zone out. It’s that classic Front Range rhythm: short power climbs, quick dips, flowy traverses, and just enough rock‑sprinkled steep bits to keep your legs honest. You’ll rack up ~1300 ft of elevation, but it’s all in those repeat ridge‑to‑valley transitions that make Ridgeline feel like a cardio interval workout disguised as a joyride.

Expect:

  • Zero true tech, but plenty of steep rollers and a couple long, grin‑inducing descents
  • Scrub oak tunnels, pine pockets, and wide‑open ridgeline views
  • Front Range + Denver skyline moments that make you want to stop and soak it in (but you won’t, because flow)

It’s solidly intermediate, but the punchiness can sneak up on you — especially early season — so bring your spring legs and your good attitude.

And if 12 miles isn’t enough, there’s an optional 4+ mile add‑on loop for anyone still feeling spicy.

Bring the stoke, bring the pedals, and let’s go wake up Ridgeline for the season. Hope to see you out there!
