Reiki, Restore, Rest

Join Melissa Thursday evening August 28, from 6:30–7:30pm for deep relaxation and renewal. This session combines restorative yoga, group and individual reiki and ending with a sound bath savasana to fully unwind your mind, body, and spirit.

Reiki:
Reiki aims to balance the energy fields in and around the body. The word "reiki" comes from the Japanese words "rei" (universal) and "ki" (life energy). Reiki practitioners place their hands on or near the client's body to help release energy blockages and allow the body to heal itself. Reiki focuses on seven main energy centers, called chakras, in the body.

Restorative Yoga:
Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow-paced yoga practice that aims to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. It's designed to help you de-stress, reduce tension, and build a sense of inner peace. Restorative yoga focuses on stillness, comfort, and deep breathing.
No prior yoga experience is necessary.

Sound Bath Savasana:
Settle into stillness as soothing frequencies of the crystal sound bowls flow through your body, guiding you into a deeply restful state. Sound baths are a practice that uses sound vibrations to promote healing and well-being, may reduce stress and anxiety, improved sleep quality, and increased focus and clarity.

*Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, water and any items to support you. If you don’t have a yoga mat, we’ll have extras available. Bolsters, extra blocks and blankets are also provided for added support.
