Outdoor Solstice for All (Including Families)
Details
Sorry for the last-minute notice - - come join the UUCA Religious Education program and MoonFire tomorrow, Sunday, June 28, at 11:40 am, under the big tree in the church parking lot to celebrate the Summer Solstice. We’ll build a fire, braid sweetgrass, and light a candle (electric or analog) to thank the people who lived under the sun on these lands before us. We’ll also thank the sun for ripening the food that gives us energy, make a fruity summer drink, and create a story of people honoring the longest day.
We will have a simple snack before Circle, and our community-blended fruity drink afterwards. We will try to get you out by 12:30.
