Annual Lammas Ritual August 2nd 7:00 PM

Details
Lammas is the first harvest festival and occurs on August 1st each year in the northern hemisphere, marking the halfway point between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox. It celebrates the grain harvest and first fruits and vegetables of the year. It is also a reminder that we are over halfway through summer and fall is on its way. It’s traditionally celebrated by baking bread from wheat or corn, but there are many ways to celebrate this sacred day of abundance.
Today we will celebrate the first Harvest Festival with a Potluck Feast and our Annual Lammas Ritual. Come and help set up the ritual and dining spaces, as we create our sacred community together. Please wear ritual garb or seasonally appropriate colors. Also bring a dish to share for the potluck that will follow the ritual.
Love offerings accepted, we provide coffee and tea.
We always have a basket to collect non perishable food for @https://www.lifenet4families.org/ . You are welcome to donate.
We also collect small used or new blankets, towels and dog toys for the strays at Broward County Animal care.
