Gathering Place:
We will meet near the picnic tables by the concession stand, on the side closer to the stage door. At 7:00pm we’ll go to the hill and set up. If you can't make it at 7:00, we'll hold some space. Look for our location in the comments. The performance starts at 8:00.

Seating for the Show:
The hill is divided with the left side for chairs and the right reserved for blankets. We sit on the chair side. Blankets may have an obstructed view. We try to get space close to the center and front.

Drinks and snacks:
Adult beverages are allowed. The city prohibits glass containers in the park. (We don't check and the city never has objected to discreet wine bottles.) It's always more fun when people bring something to share.

Parking:
There are two main parking areas for Miller.

The Zoo lot has more spaces
Parking Lot F

The Centennial Gardens Lot has easier exits after the show

In the event of rain, we will attempt to get seats under the cover. They are usually available, so don't be deterred.

From the event page:

Join us for one unforgettable night of theatrical magic as six Houston-born Broadway powerhouses light up the Miller stage — reminding us all that big dreams truly begin at home.
Enjoy an evening under the stars singing along to some of your favorite Broadway hits from shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Frozen, Funny Girl, and more!
Kinder HSPVA graduate and UH alum Anthony Boggess-Glover’s theatrical career has taken him all over the world. Many of you will know him from his work here in Houston with TUTS or the Alley Theatre, but his adventures on the New York stage also include Ain’t Misbehavin’, Showboat, Carousel — just to name a few.
The New York Times described Grammy-nominated Ashley Támar as “having a voice that can fill three stadiums and the moves of Tina Turner.” She’s a singer, a songwriter, an actress, and an entrepreneur with multiple albums produced and stage credits that include Waitress, A Night with Janis Joplin, Prince, The Voice, and Motown the Musical.
Also in the spotlight will be DeQuina Moore. With both film and stage credits to her name, she is best known for her work as part of the original Broadway cast in Legally Blonde: The Musical, as well as appearing in Little Shop of Horrors, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, and Hair.
Another proud Kinder HSPVA graduate, Jarvis B. Manning Jr. has graced the small screen, silver screen, and Broadway stages with his dynamic presence. Known for Broadway productions like Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations, Some Like It Hot, and Motown the Musical, he’s a powerful tenor with a Texan drawl that is sure to charm the whole audience.
If you caught Wicked in the touring act or on the Broadway stage, you might be familiar with Houston-born Jennafer Newberry. You might say she knows a few things about being “Popular!” With a killer vibrato, this triple threat can sing, dance, and direct — so look out!
This performance will also feature Mikey Wolfe, a Houston local singer/songwriter and composer whose stage credits include the fabulous Bizet opera Carmen!
