Curatorial Tour: Global Visions

FREE EVENT: "Experience the FotoFest Biennial 2026 through a curatorial tour led by co-founder and curator Wendy Watriss and executive director and curator Steven Evans alongside Biennial artists. The group will guide guests through the central exhibition, Global Visions, by sharing insight about select works, reflections on meaning, and other compelling aspects.

"Global Visions – FotoFest at 40 marks four decades of groundbreaking photographic arts and education programming in Houston, TX. The central exhibition highlights significant works and themes from each of the 20 previous biennials, from 1986 to 2024, and features work by over 450 artists from 58 countries.
Guests will meet at the entrance of the central exhibition (i.e., the title wall) and walk through the gallery spaces together. This tour is expected to last for 1–2 hours."

PARKING: Free parking is available at the lot opposite Silver Street Studios. The entrance to Silver Street Studios is located at 2001 Edwards St, Houston, TX 77007, under the Silver Street marquee. Drive all the way in, then turn left when reaching the large parking area. You will see a wooden deck leading to Silver Street Studio's Entrance 1.
