Enjoy a program music by of iconic American composers presented by the Houston Civic Symphony joined by Chelsea de Souza, piano.
At Houston Christian University. The concert is free to attend.
Event time is one half hour before the program time of 7:30 PM. Seating is not reserved. We will take seats at 7:00 PM and comment on our seating location. We can usually hold a few seats so if you come later, join us in the theater.

IMO, this piece is a highlight not to be missed.
De Souza is the Mitchell Scholar in Residence at Moores School of Music, University of Houston, teaching classes on improvisation and music of the Indian diaspora, and curating interdisciplinary performances. She is the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Houston Music Festival, and a 2024-26 Texas Touring Artist.
