About The Performance: "Miller Outdoor Theatre is closing out the season in the most spectacular way possible with Cirque Kalabanté: Afrique en Cirque, a jaw-dropping celebration of African culture, movement, and artistry that has to be seen to be believed.

"From the very first moment, this show grabs you and doesn’t let go. Watch in awe as world-class acrobats launch into the air, bend the rules of gravity, and build breathtaking human pyramids, all while the stage pulses with the electrifying sounds of live Afro-Jazz, percussion, and the mesmerizing West African kora. This isn’t just a performance. It’s an entire cirque experience you won’t want to miss.
Inspired by the vibrant, everyday life of Guinea, West Africa, Afrique en Cirque bursts with color, energy, and pure joy. The costumes dazzle. The staging stuns. The athleticism is absolutely unreal. From daring solo acrobatic feats to full-company ensemble numbers that fill the entire stage with motion and music, every single moment is crafted to make your heart race."

Gathering Place:
We will meet near the picnic tables by the concession stand, on the side closer to the stage door. At 6:30 p.m., we’ll go to the hill and set up. If you can't make it at 6, we'll hold some space. Look for our location in the comments. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

Seating for the Show:
The hill is divided with the left side for chairs and the right reserved for blankets. We sit on the chair side. Blankets may have an obstructed view. We try to get space close to the center and front.

Drinks and snacks:
Adult beverages are allowed. The city prohibits glass containers in the park. (We don't check and the city never has objected to discreet wine bottles.) It's always more fun when people bring something to share.

Parking:
There are two main parking areas for Miller.

The Zoo lot has more spaces
Parking Lot F

The Centennial Gardens Lot has easier exits after the show
Parking Lot C

In the event of rain, we will get seats under the cover. So don't be deterred.
