In the deepest introspection, the notion of self becomes an illusion.
For centuries, scientists have tried to explain what is consciousness and what causes consciousness but as of now, we have no concrete answer to these questions. It seems that consciousness has no objective definition. Of course, conscious experience depends from one person to another. What is the world compared to a blind man?
But this event is not just about consciousness but rather the idea that the notion of self emerges from our ego, a label to a deeper mystery, consciousness. Consciousness in itself has no notion of I, me, or myself or any personal pronouns.
Join me to discuss the complexity of consciousness, the notion of self, and the future of consciousness in a silicon body.
