Wild Baby Season with Giaquinto Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
Details
We're excited to welcome back Alyssa Giaquinto from the Giaquinto Wildlife Rehabilitation Center! She'll teach us why spring is "baby season" for most of our native wildlife and discuss some of the baby animals we may encounter in the woods, and even in our own backyard.
We'll learn about how long babies tend to stay with their parents and when they are old enough to go off on their own, as well as what to do if you find any animals you believe to be orphaned and what may cause them to become true orphans.
You'll also have the chance to meet Alyssa's educational ambassador barn owl, Bella, and learn all about her vulnerable species!
