Please join me for some delicious Westernize Chinse Dinner at Gwailo.

GWAILO is a fun and funky restaurant and bar in the heart of beautiful-downtown Inglewood, serving killer cocktails, craft beer, great wine and Chef Wong’s delicious Hong Kong-adjacent cuisine. Great tunes, awesome people and eclectic décor. It’s a good time.

Named by Chef and co-owner Chris Wong as a tongue-in-cheek reference to his feeling like a foreigner when he returned to his Hong Kong roots, GWAILO brings a unique dining experience to Inglewood and Calgary at large.

This event is reserved for a maximum of 8 people. Reservations close when 8 people are on the going list OR at noon …which ever comes first.

PROCESS FOR ATTENDING:

STEP 1:
Put yourself on the wait list. This does not mean you are confirmed to go. Nor does it mean the event is full. It means, you are commitment to attend the event. Once the event is full, the title will be changed to EVENT FULL.

STEP 2:
Once you confirm the event title has not been updated, E-Transfer a $5 deposit for yourself and for each guest.

IN THE MEMO SECTION, WRITE FOR DINNER AT GWAILO

STEP 3:
Send MESSAGE to the host through meetup or at the above email, AFTER you send the e-transfer.

STEP 4:
Once your deposit is received, you will be taken off the wait list and put on the going list. YOU ARE NOT CONFIRMED AS GOING, UNTIL THE HOST CONFIRMS THEY HAVE RECEIVED A DEPOSIT AND MOVES YOU FROM THE WAIT LIST, TO THE GOING LIST ON MEETUP. If you do not hear from the host within 2 days of sending your deposit, it is your responsibility to contact them.

STEP 5:
When you attend the event, you will receive your deposit back, in cash.
If you do not show up at the event, your deposit goes towards the cost of Meetup Site Subscription.
If you cancel after noon October 14, 2022, you will not receive your deposit back.

Refund of deposit for cancellations before noon October 14, 2022, will be the sole discretion of the Group Organizers.
Getting moved to the going list is based on when your deposit and message is received, not by when you joined the wait list. If you are unsure of any information provided in this email or on the event details, please reach out to the host as soon as possible. Please do not wait until the day before the event or the morning of the event.
