Obsidian Buttes (that's a mountain made of Dragon Glass)
Pumice Quarry
The International Date Museum
The Dinos as Cabazon

This is easy camping, moderate hiking and a culture vulture tour all in one!

Perfect for first-timer, beginner or novice. Sites are flat with flush rest-rooms and running water. There are free showers.

We will sit around the campfire with warmth and friends. Campfire wood provided by us to start things out.

• Arrive when you can. Open and flexible arrival time. Settle in to camp. Dinner, drinks, etc. Or just appreciate the quiet and solitude, and the dark skies bright with stars. Spectacular Dark Skies

Sat: Ladder Canyon/Painted Canyon Hike. This and AMAZING place.

Sunday is our Cultural Wateland Photo Tour
Sun Mud Volcanoes, Obsidian Buttes, Bombay Beach, Salvation Mtn, East Jesus, The International Banana Museum, The Dinos at Cabozan.

We will pack in a LOT!!!

About Ladder Canyon:
Ladders along the route. Hence Ladder Cyn Hike.

We get the visit to the Salton Sea, . . . the longest running man-made natural disaster. The Mud Volcanoes are a byproduct of the weight of the water.
Bombay beach is the result of a salt swamp reclaiming the land. Salvation Mtn and East Jesus are kinda like a permanent burning man sites.
The Banana Museum, The Dinos at Cabozan, . . . It's all just awesome.

Accommodations:
We have a rather private and quiet site. It is a tent camping site. No RV's or Van's

A Most folks come on their own. After all it is a meetup. You will feel right at home with a good bunch of good people enjoying the stunning outdoors and adventure.
