Ride your bike (provided by us) through exotic landscapes of Tibet, get to Everest Base camp and glimpse at the tallest mountain in the world, emerge in the local culture and take part in the Nepali New Year celebrations! . . . This is a 15-day trip, starting in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
Enjoy 4 days of acclimatization, preparation and celebration of the Nepalese New Year festivities. Then embark on our guided motorbike tour through the picturesque Nepalese countryside. Cross the border to the Chinese side of Tibet and traverse the world's highest plateau, taking in awe-inspiring views of the Tibetan landscape. Marvel at the majestic Mt. Everest and reach Everest Base Camp. Visit ancient monasteries and witness the spirituality, rich cultural and historical local heritage. Mingle with the locals in bustling bazaars, go to the former residence of the Dalai Lama, a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism. In the end of the trip, drop off your bikes and board a flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu and then back home, bringing unforgettable memories, amazing photos and stories to enchant your friends!

What kind of bikes are provided?
Royal Enfield or Himalayan

Who will accompany and support the group?
Private Supporting Transportation by Van or Small Truck is provided. A dedicated vehicle to transport luggage and supplies. English-Speaking Tibetan Guide. A skilled motorbike Mechanic with essential spare parts to assist with any motorbike-related issues during the trip.

Does this include food?
Meals other than breakfast are not included in the tour package.

What is lodging like?
Comfortable hotel lodging and guesthouses with private rooms.

I am new at this...
That's OK. We do plenty of prep Zooms before we depart. And in California we have a number of local outdoor day- or weekend outings you can test out with us.

How dangerous is this? What if I get sick or hurt?
We will be driving on established, well used roads the entire time. Our trip INCLUDES emergency insurance. We are also Certified Wilderness First Responders. Plain and simple, safety is our primary goal!
