Gorilla Trekking in East Africa: An Epic Meetup Adventure!

Join our Meetup for an unforgettable 10-day adventure exploring the best of Uganda and Rwanda! This trip includes breathtaking wildlife safaris, cultural experiences, and the bucket-list highlight: trekking to see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

This trip can be booked as an extension to our Tanzania and Kenya Photo Safari, June 26-01, 2025.

Itinerary Highlights:
📍 Day 1 (July 5): Arrival in Entebbe
Arrive at Entebbe, a town in central Uganda - a country uniquely known as “the Pearl of Africa” with stunning greenery, deep lakes, soaring mountains and rich biodiversity.
📍 Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, embark on a scenic journey, and enjoy dinner with spectacular views at Pakuba Safari Lodge.
📍 Day 3: Game Drives + Boat Cruise
Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and more during a thrilling safari. Then, cruise to the base of the roaring Murchison Falls.
📍 Day 4-6: Primate Tracking Adventures
Head to Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking, explore Bigodi Wetlands, and visit Queen Elizabeth National Park for a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel.
📍 Day 7-8: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Trek through the lush rainforest to see mountain gorillas up close! Wrap up with cultural visits to the Batwa (an indigenous group of people who live in the Great Lakes region of Central Africa) and later, transfer to Ruhengeri, Rwanda.
📍 Day 9-10: Golden Monkey Trekking + Kigali
Encounter rare golden monkeys, visit Ibyiwacu cultural village, and end the trip with a Kigali city tour and a stop at the Genocide Museum.
