In the rough mining town of Mt Isa, Bruce is a no-nonsense country bloke who treats people right, does his job and doesn’t care what others think. What the locals don’t realise is that Bruce has a secret: a meticulous self-discipline that makes him far tougher than he looks. Alongside the love of his life, Jeannie, he keeps that secret under wraps—until a brawl at the annual B&S ball sparks a grudge match with three local troublemakers.
