Join us for a focused, quiet session of fiber arts at the Morganton Public Library. This is a semi-structured "parallel play" environment designed for makers who value a productive and calm atmosphere.
What to Expect:
- The Environment: This is a quiet-focus zone. Think of it as a "study hall" for fiber arts. While light conversation is welcome, the priority is on deep work and the rhythmic process of the loom. Small groups.
- Self-Directed Space: Experienced loomers are encouraged to bring their current projects and utilize the dedicated table space.
- Guided Basics: If you are a complete beginner, we offer step-by-step guidance to help you start a simple, textured piece like a scarf, blanket or headband.
- The Supply Bar: We provide looms and yarn for use during the session (sizes and colors available will vary). If you have a specific yarn you'd like to work with, feel free to bring it.
