Join us for a focused, quiet session of fiber arts at the Morganton Recreation Center. This is a semi-structured "parallel play" environment designed for makers who value a productive and calm atmosphere.
What to Expect:
- The Environment: This is a quiet-focus zone. Think of it as a "study hall" for fiber arts. While light conversation is welcome, the priority is on deep work and the rhythmic process of the loom. Small groups.
- Self-Directed Space: Experienced loomers are encouraged to bring their current projects.
- Guided Basics: If you are a complete beginner, we offer step-by-step guidance to help you start a simple piece like a scarf or headband. A beginner-friendly pattern and yarn will be available at the supply bar (varies by session).
- The Supply Bar: We provide looms for use during the session (sizes and colors available will vary). If you have a specific yarn and pattern you'd like to work with, feel free to bring it. A beginner pattern and yarn for that project will be available.
