Welcome to our Mindful Mornings Guided Meditation and Water Color Group. This group is all about getting yourself into a great mental space for the day!

Sessions are held live on Zoom, providing a warm and welcoming space to start the day with art and reflection. Bring your coffee or tea, some watercolors, brushes, and paper and let’s create together. 💛✨

🌿 A unique theme for your day and a guided visualization
🌿 Sweet Somatic Chair Stretches
🌿 Intuitive watercolor painting your emotions on paper.
🌿 Sharing your insights and art in a safe and kind space

What we'll do:

We will start each morning with a new theme such as joy, stillness, or gratitude. I will lead you through somatic chair stretches and a guided visualization as we get ready to create. Then we will spend time intuitively painting with watercolors in sacred silence. I will also provide a link to some soulful spotify music list for those that prefer creating with music. After painting we will enjoy our morning coffees or tea together and share what we are working on and what our intention is for our day.

You do not need any prior art experience. Just buy a cheap set of watercolors and some thick paper. You can get both from the dollar store! Watercolor pencils can be a fun addition too.

About me (your facilitator and friend for the mornings!):

I’m Aubrey, an Expressive Arts Facilitator with 15 years of experience leading creative sessions for domestic violence survivors groups, substance abuse recovery, disability support programs, and in assisted living communities.

I am committed to continuous learning, and I hold certificates in Contemplative Art Practice (Appalachian State University) and Intermodal Expressive Arts (Florida Expressive Arts Institute). I’m also a Certified Activity Director (NCCAP).

I love being creative in my studio, mostly writing, painting, and linocut printmaking. I have a deep appreciation for the transformative power of art for self-discovery and emotional expression and love sharing this tool for healing with others.

While this space is always free & welcoming, donations are deeply appreciated from returning friends to assist in keeping this space open and available.

Even though this session is held live on Zoom, you’re encouraged to keep your video on, bring coffee or tea, and get settled in to create together like we are cozy in the same space. 💛✨
