LOVE-LIFE-BUSINESS Money Speakeasy

Join us the second Saturday morning of every month for a Money Speakeasy at the Lounge at Gotham Glow. This is not your average networking group but a gathering for women to ask questions, share stories and learn about everything life, love and business-- but centered around money.

The term "Speakeasy" originated from a time when bartenders would instruct patrons to "speak easy" (quietly) to avoid drawing attention to the prohibited act of buying alcohol. While our series doesn't require passwords or secret handshakes (or alcohol- although what's a Saturday morning without a mimosa??), we embrace the clandestine charm of those intimate conversations now centered around MONEY!

Our goal is to create an open and inclusive space where women can openly share wisdom and experiences, ask questions, and encourage each other while navigating their financial lives. The conversation is guided by your hosts- ME, a financial advisor with 20+ years experience in the financial industry-- and my co-host, Tamar Vezirian who has had 20+ years as a business owner in NYC. But the roundtable is really about YOU sharing your stories and struggles. Expect insightful guidance, valuable resources, laughs and of course a bespoke mimosa to keep the money talk flowing!

The Money Speakeasy gatherings originated in the Hudson Valley back in February 2024, when we started meeting at Poor George in Cold Spring, NY and co-hosted by me and Poor George owner Cadah Taylor. Since then our roundtable discussions have ranged from how to speak to your partner about money, to investing during an election year, to how much do you actually need to be 'happy,' to the truth about Social Security- and more!
