About Rob

Rob is CEO and Founder of Australian Tenders with over 30 years experience in tech. He was awarded the Pearcey WA Entrepreneur of the Year in the 2019 Incite Awards.

Rob is passionate and committed to supporting emerging WA startups and is the founder of the Freo Startup Fest and on the organising committee of the West Tech Fest.

He is an active Angel investor and has invested in over 20 WA startups in the last 7 years. Rob is a founding member of the West Tech Investor Network.

Rob is a qualified engineer who has spent most of his career in Product Management and Marketing focussing on development, commercialisation and sales of Australian technology in to global markets. He identified the need for comprehensive data and insights on upcoming tenders when working as a Business Development Manager for a tech company.

He started his own company in 2009 which was bootstrapped using $5000 he borrowed from his super fund. The company has since helped thousands of businesses find tender opportunities.

Rob has a Bachelor of Telecommunications Engineering from Curtin University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Australia
