Scaling your startup and overcoming imposter syndrome with Olivia Humphrey
Details
Morning Startup is honoured to host Olivia Humphrey, founder of Kanopy, an on-demand streaming video platform for public libraries and universities offering films and documentaries.
In 2013, Olivia relocated to the US to scale Kanopy leading to its eventual acquisition by a private equity firm five years later. She has now relocated back to Perth and is generously sharing her experience and advice to startups and investing in film and media ventures.
In this talk, Olivia will share the insights she offered in her keynote speech at Ignition 2020 where she explores the two most frequently asked questions she hears:
- What is the secret to scaling a business?
- How do I overcome imposter syndrome?
She will draw on her own personal experience, as well as what she has learned from her network of leading VCs, successful founders and angel investors to offer a fresh view on what it takes to be successful from Perth.
