Kitchell Pond-Loantaka Trail

Our next hike will be Sat August 22, 10:00 am at Kitchell Pond-Loantaka Trail (75 Kitchell Rd, Morristown) We will meet up at the parking lot!

This hike features beautiful pond and forest views, a combination of paved and unpaved trails through the woods. This is an easy 21/4 -3 mile hike depending on which options we choose, flat terrain accessible by walking, biking, and with horse paths here and there. There is a lovely picnic area by the pond which can be rented for the occasion through the Morris County park Commission. The Green Village Deli nearby will also deliver food to this site if requested with no delivery charge.
