Get Started Morris Dancing!

We practice and perform English Morris Dancing, an exciting, vigorous folk dance that was old in Shakespeare's time. A good level of fitness, some sense of keeping time to music, and a sense of humor are the basic requirements; we can teach the rest. If you are a musician, and want a chance to play great traditional tunes that people dance to, we would like to meet you, too.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and shoes suitable for aerobic activity.

We will show you a dance or two, then teach you a simple dance or two.

FYI: We discuss the time and place of our next meeting at our previous one, so our regulars seldom check in to Meet-up.

We will be at The Focal Point, a music venue in Maplewood.
