Short Hike w/ Off- Trail trekking @ High Ridge pk

This short, but sweet 2mile moderate hike has downed trees & at times, high grass. Pace: 1.5mph. The trek first begins exploring High Ridge park passing a gracious Gazebo before a dire descent off the plateau, hence going "off-trail". From here, the hike is sandwiched by the Patuxent River & occasional rocky outcroppings, eventually leading to a small but steep ascent. Latter of the circuit wanders about the woodland, concluding with a benign 'root- bridge' traverse. Highlights include a Team of Termites (may be absent at this time) & an ugly uprooted tree. An off-trail adventure!
