Celebrate Halloween with a not-so-spooky, but historically haunting walk & talk tour of Aspin Hill Pet Cemetery! This tour tip toes by some tombstones, then offers a self-explorative gander!

The cemetery of this Memorial Park is said to be the one of the oldest continually operating in the U.S., dating back to 1920. Despite being located in Aspen Hill (a suburb of Rockville, MD), the original owners named it after an English kennel, "Aspin Hill". Today, it is managed by the Montgomery County Humane Society, and is home to some famous-ish critters!

The Walk & Talk Tour highlights include...
> Alexandria K-9 Corps
> Mickey Mausoleum
> Smokey the Horse
> RAGS-- WWI 1st Division Mascot Hero
> Napoleon-- a white Persian cat known as "the weather prophet of Baltimore"
> the RAT graves
> a 'Schnauzer Tower'

See if you can spot:
[a] Spee de Bozo (J. Edgar Hoover's dog)
[b] Gypsy (monkey owned by a panhandler who would now be considered a secret millionaire!)

We have some Halloween goodies to share! Snap & post a photo of the following to possibly receive a trick or treat:
A funny pet name, the most decorated tombstone, & the most interesting inscription!
