Saturdays will be up for grabs

Hi guys,

Whenever summer rolls around, the group dynamics change quite a bit. People go on vacation, students go travel. The weather is awesome for playing outside. Why should we have the same boring events?

I've also noticed that RSVPs to Fat Cat have been dropping lately, and so, I'm opening up the Saturday sessions to be "Up for grabs". Sunday sessions will stay as is unless you guys like newer format.

Starting next week, all Saturdays will be open for people to put an event up. Whoever wants to suggest "Hey! Let's go play in the park/in this open space/at my house!" is free to do so. First come first served.

There's a few simple rules:

1) If you post something, you HAVE to attend unless it's canceled. If I receive complaints I'll be forced to "fix" the problem.

2) First come first served. If a Saturday slot is taken up by someone, don't fight. Work together.

3) No last minute events/cancellations. Give people 24-48+ hours advance notice.

4) No automatic rescheduling ot the event. You can post something again, but you can't use the "automatically repeat" option.

If you want to meet at Fat Cat like we've been doing, that's cool, just put it up there. But this lets us be more creative about what we're doing, and where.

If you're looking for venue ideas, I'm maintaining a list of suggested venues here (members can edit)
