sometimes you just want to finish bedtime or hand it over to partner, leave the house for the evening, and have an adult conversation.

mother/maker's (girls) night out is a weekly standing invitation for the creative, matrescent woman especially new mothers, mums-to-be, and women in their auntie era to gather over drinks, conversation, and connection.

there’s no agenda, no workshop, and no pressure to network. just a regular place to meet other women navigating motherhood, family life, career questions, identity shifts, relationships, creativity, and everything in between.

making friends as an adult can be surprisingly difficult. making friends as a mother or having people who are in the exact same phase of life as you around can feel almost impossible. this is a simple attempt to make it easier!

join us every thursday evening throughout the fall.
come alone, bring a friend, tell a friend, stay for one drink or stay all evening.

the goal is simple: a few hours of good conversation with women who get it and are in a similar chapter of life. and no one needs to coordinate. just show up.

🫶 this is an informal community gathering hosted by mother/maker - a new child-friendly creative studio and pop-up events for creative women.

a standing invitation, twice a month - this time, bring the babies and toddlers. (we do fun events without the kids too!)

sometimes you just want to get out of the house before the bedtime scramble, let your kid run around, and have an actual conversation with another adult. this is that.

every other wednesday evening, we meet in plaza de cofriadas - a central square with a playground - the tapas bar right beside it does a good aperol and vermut, so grab a drink, keep half an eye on the kids, and settle in.

come and go as you please. no host, no agenda, no plan needed. the point is just knowing that every other wednesday, at the same time, in the same square, there will be other mums and kids there too. let this be a regular spot on the calendar that's already yours - a breath of fresh air to get you through the week.

finding your people as a new mother is hard. this is a small, steady way to make it easier.

kids play, mums talk, everyone exhales a little. for all sorts of mothers, mums-to-be and their supportive auntie-era friends.

This is your Friday morning reset.

mother/maker is opening its doors for the first time in Málaga — and we're starting the way we mean to go on: with good tea, creative women, and children welcome beside you.
Bring whatever you're working on. A crochet project, a sketchbook, a collage in progress, your journal, your knitting. Bring your baby or toddler. Bring yourself, even if your hands arrive empty.

The morning is unstructured by design. Sit down, make something, let your little one explore alongside you. Conversation happens naturally. So does quiet, when you need it. There's no agenda other than time — unhurried, creative, yours.

What to expect: Good tea and coffee on arrival. A warm, child-friendly space. Collective care — babies and toddlers are genuinely held by the room, not just accommodated. A moment of mindfulness to open the morning and help you land. Women who get it.

Bring: Your own materials and current project. Anything your child needs. An open morning.

This is for you if: You're a mother, a mum-to-be, or a woman who loves being around creative energy and children. You want to make something with your hands in the company of likeminded women. You've been looking for your people in Málaga and a space where you can become your complete self.

Creative mums + kids meet up at the guitar festival happening throughout September!

Let’s meet for a coffee at 11 next door and go to a concert together with our kids ☺️ I’ll be going with my toddler who loves music and would love to meet other mums who love to experience musical and artistic events with their kids.

mother/maker is a child-friendly creative space being built in Malaga. We host social events, creative workshops and other artistic explorations like heart-expanding music events and ceremonies.
