child-friendly creative events, coworking, connection, social hours, women's circles + salon nights for the matrescent woman, especially new mothers, mums-to-be and women in a season of transition.
mother/maker is a new collective that is a community for mothers, caregivers, and women in seasons of becoming who are looking for more space for their complete selves - creativity, spiritual growth, support and connection.
we host small, intimate gatherings including coworking + collective care mornings, creative drop-in sessions for both adults and toddlers/children, and seasonal salon nights and women's circles. these are slow, welcoming spaces where you can work, create, rest, or simply be in the same room as other women navigating similar life stages.
babies and young children (0–4) are welcome at many of our daytime sessions, and all events are designed to feel low-pressure, informal, and accessible.
this is not a parenting class, wellness programme, or structured artistic workshop series.
it is a growing, in-person village experiment for women who want more space for themselves while still being close to their children and everyday life.
we are currently hosting summer pop-ups in amsterdam as we build toward a permanent mother/maker child-friendly creative studio in málaga, spain.

Papote Cafe (Kid's Club), 65 VASCO DA GAMASTRAAT, amsterdam, NLjoin me around amsterdam this summer as I explore the intersection of art, creativity and soul expression. mother/maker will be joining this event as an attendee (+ husband and toddler!).
We'll be happy to connect with and encourage other like-minded toddler mums!

sometimes you just want to finish bedtime or hand it over to partner, leave the house for the evening, and have an adult conversation.
mother/maker's (girls) night out is a weekly standing invitation for the creative, matrescent woman especially new mothers, mums-to-be, and women in their auntie era to gather over drinks, conversation, and connection.
there’s no agenda, no workshop, and no pressure to network. just a regular place to meet other women navigating motherhood, family life, career questions, identity shifts, relationships, creativity, and everything in between.
making friends as an adult can be surprisingly difficult. making friends as a mother or having people who are in the exact same phase of life as you around can feel almost impossible. this is a simple attempt to make it easier!
join us every thursday evening throughout the summer.
come alone, bring a friend, tell a friend, stay for one drink or stay all evening.the goal is simple: a few hours of good conversation with women who get it and are in a similar chapter of life. and no one needs to coordinate. just show up. look for the mother/maker logo on the table or ask for the reservation under Lulu @ 8pm.

at mother/maker, we believe we are all creative beings. but we have to feel safe, nourished, and inspired to be able to tap into our creative spirits.

Day-time events are child-friendly for mums who want to invite their babies into their creative practice.
the goal is simple: a few hours of good conversation and relaxation with women who get it and are in a similar chapter of life.

the plan is to meet for a drink at 1900 and go into the spa around 1930-2230 (closing time) or until you have to leave !
