When women in tech are asked to talk at events, it's usually to talk about being a woman in tech - which often means talking about the difficulties of being a woman and tech (with the occasional solution).
Too often we're told we just need to 'lean in more', or that everything can be fixed with a mentor - and those talks have their place, but we've heard those stories before. So, it’s time to go beyond that.
Come join us for a series of short, impactful talks packed full of inspiration about bringing together Mums in Tech & their allies.

We will be joined by:

• Rebecca Taylor, Threat Intelligence Knowledge Manager at Secureworks and the ‘Most Inspiring Woman in Cyber 2024’ will be presenting her talk ‘Digital Guardians: Empowering Women to Protect Family Online’
• Steph Hind, Co-Founder of Heka, who will be presenting ‘What goes around, comes around' - a look at the fact that it's who you surround yourself with, and how you treat them, that is often the difference between success and failure.
• Arfah Farooq, CEO & Founder of Muslim Tech Fest & Muslamic Makers will be drawing on her extensive experience with diverse, global communities to delve into her strategic approach to community building.
• Claire Thomas, Trustee at Equality Starts at Home will be sharing her personal experiences navigating infertility and motherhood alongside a corporate career with the aim that nobody feels they have to be alone in this journey.
