What we're about

The mission of Mother Brook Arts & Community Center (MBACC) is to build community through the arts. MBACC strives to encourage the imagination of youth, inspire and expand the lives of adults and attract established and emerging artists of excellence and relevance. We offer studio space, adult and children’s classes, regularly scheduled exhibits, performances and events and community gathering space. Future plans for the center include improved performance space, a ceramics studio, a cafe, and a store.

MBACC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We are located in the former Avery Elementary School at 123 High Street. The former school was built in 1921 and sits on the banks of the historic Mother Brook.
