Mother’s Walk Concept:
We meet at the Dyrehaven main entrance close to Klampenborg Station at 9:00 and walk through nature towards Skodsborg Naturlegeplads, just besides Skodsborg Station.
Ideally, we are meeting by ourselves and without our children in order to keep the pace and the space. The idea is for us mothers to engage in a dynamic and mindful walk & talk, while exercising, enjoying time in nature, and also enjoying moments of silence to connect with ourselves and nature. There will be a short break during the way where we will enjoy nature. I am a certified Nature Coach and will be facilitating our time and space together.
I chose this route since I live nearby; it is beautiful and there is a great opportunity for families to meet at the Skodsborg Nature Legeplads and enjoy the Danish snobrød around the fire. (We will provide it)
For example: If your partner is staying with the kids, he may drop you off at Klampenborg Station and drive further to Skodsborg Station/Naturlegeplads where there are plenty of parking opportunities, and stay with your child or children while you enjoy time with us.
If you must bring your child to the walk, it is completely understandable, and you and your little one are absolutely welcome! Make sure your child is in a stroller so we can keep the pace. Please and bring you most robust stroller since there are stones along the way.
If it rains lightly, the event will still happen and continue. Be prepared for rain! Naturally, if the rain is too heavy, we will postpone the walk.
Why the Walk:
I often hear in different international mother forums about how hard it can be to find true connections. Most mothers I talk with wish to exercise more and spend more time in nature. The Mother’s Walk concept arose after I become a walking host through the Just Walk project from Just Human. My personal purpose by hosting the walk is to create a beautiful space in nature for deep inner and outer connections among international moms living in Denmark.
About Me:
I am Nanda Speranza, founder of the Mothers in Nature Community, dedicated to creating nurturing spaces for mothers to connect, reflect, and rejuvenate in the healing embrace of nature. As a Brazilian living in Denmark for over 20 years, married to a Dane, and a mother to a vibrant 5-year-old, I bring a blend of cultural richness and life experience to my work. With a variety of qualifications, including RTT Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Nature Coaching, Parent Coaching, Leadership, and Yoga, along with a deep interest in neuroscience and mental health, I guide women through conscious motherhood and personal transformation. My initiatives, like nature walks and laughter yoga, offer mothers the chance to reconnect with themselves, foster true self-esteem, and align their hearts and minds—all while embracing the therapeutic power of nature.
Together, we create a community where every woman can feel supported and inspired to become who they came here to be.
