Legislative Working Session
We are building those civic muscles by getting to know the legislative process and practicing giving public testimony when the floor is open for public comment. This is a low-stakes but meaningful way to get real experience telling your story about why you want Baltimore County to protect our environment. And you can do so with a cheer squad there to give you that extra boost of courage. If you would rather listen and observe, this is a great opportunity to do so. We will be doing this somewhat regularly, so there will be more opportunities in the future.

We don’t recommend bringing young kids to this only because it will be VERY boring for them. Older kids who want to give public speaking a whirl will be cheered for extra. 😄

If you can’t attend in person - no problem! The meeting will be available online and you will still have the option to deliver public remarks if you choose to do so.
