Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum

Join Mothers Out Front for a tour of the Benjamin Banneker Museum in Ellicott City!

Maryland is a state rich with some absolutely fascinating history. If you don’t know anything about Benjamin Banneker, you are in for a real treat. Born in 1731 to freed slaves, Benjamin Banneker went on to become a renowned mathematician and astronomer who owned the land that is now the historical park and museum.

After the museum tour, we will meet at the picnic tables to enjoy the sights of the park, give the kids a chance to run around, and adults will have a chance to write post cards and chat.
