What we’re about
Mothers & Munchkins is a community that was designed to bring together mamas with little ones, aging from birth to five years of age. In this group, you will find a diverse group of mothers, consisting of stay-at-home moms and working professionals, alike. During our time together, we have become a tight knit group of friends that support one another through the challenges of motherhood and life.
Most of our events will take place in Stone Oak and the surrounding area, however, you do not need to live in the area in order to be a member. Common events include play dates at parks, zoo trips, arts & crafts, coffee dates, brunches, and holiday parties. We also strive to have at least one mom’s night out (MNO) a month, which could be dinner, drinks, music, painting, karaoke, pottery, or painting. Of course, we are always looking for new types of MNO activities, so recommendations are always welcome.
We offer a 30-day free trial for mothers interested in joining our group and thereafter, members are required to pay dues of $5/month. This trial period gives mothers the opportunity to attend multiple events and meet various mamas to ensure their satisfaction with our offerings. If you decide to join, dues will be due within 14-days of enrolling and will automatically recur monthly once payment is set-up through Meetup. All dues will be allocated to our monthly Meetup cost fees and future events/supplies. We are a not-for-profit group, therefore, all incoming money will be used for Mothers & Munchkins purposes only.
