VALENCIA COUNTY CHARITY RIDE -- DATE CHANGE!
Details
Hi everyone!
When October rolls around, attention focuses on Breast Cancer Awareness month. Many of us know someone who has been personally impacted. The 11th Annual Pink-tober Awareness and Charity Ride will take place on Sunday October 12. We will ride through Valencia County and wind up in Belen. Gather at the Smiths in Los Lunas (intersection of Highway 6 and Highway 47) around 10:30. KSU at 11 am. Since this is a charity run, it will cost $25 per rider ($10 per passenger) -- cash or check made out to National Breast Cancer Foundation -- and includes a catered lunch. Please invite your friends so we can get a good turnout! I will need a more or less firm head count by October 6.
On October 19, there will be a charity cornhole tournament in Los Lunas, beginning at 12. Let me know if you want directions, it's very close by my house.
If you are unable to attend, please consider making a small donation made out to the "National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc." . The money is used to fund research and outreach programs. Previous events raised over $5000 each! You can give donations to Ellen at any Friday breakfast, or mail them to me (Ellen Santistevan) at 6 Mills Lane, Los Lunas 87031, or to Clint "Doc" Richardson at 256 Tracy Lane, Lemitar 87823
Your participation and support are deeply appreciated. If you have any additional questions about the event, or wish to donate, please contact myself or Doc (575-838-6227).
I hope to see a lot of you there!
