If you are interested in joining this ride, you need to make room reservations ASAP. There are several hotels you can choose from that are listed on the website “**fivestaterun.com**”. I have made reservations at the Best Western Plus Guyman Hotel and Suites located on 1102 NE 6th St. Phone number 580-338-0800. Rooms start at $114. Some are staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites across the street, and the Quality Inn & Suites are also very close. Support Iron Thunder Motorcycle Club based out of Guymon, Oklahoma for Mother’s Day weekend 2025 and enjoy riding 300 miles through five states in one day. The website is now updated reflecting 2025 information. Please log onto their site and print off your registration form and get it mailed in, or you could register at the event on Friday night and/or Saturday morning. The cost is $55 which includes your poker hand, patch, rocker, pin and meal ticket for Saturday night's dinner.
It is 334 miles from Smith's on Tramway to our hotels in Guymon, OK - roughly 5 hours. We will travel 109 miles (1.5 hours) to Santa Rosa and stop at the TA Travel Center on the east end of town off Rte. 66 around 11:00. Leaving TA at 11:30, we will head to Tucumcari and make 3 stops. 1st at the Circle K Gas Station on Rte. 66 around 12:30. 2nd stop at the Welcome Center (where Clint Eastwood once stayed) off Rte. 66, with the final stop at Del's Restaurant at 1202 Rte. 66 for lunch around 1:15. From here, we will catch highway 54 to Dalhart, TX, 93 miles (1.5 hours), and stop for gas at the Toot'n Totum on 122 Liberal St. We will finish up the last 72 miles (1 hour) to Guymon and check into our hotels around 5:00.
Thursday night Dinner - Eddie's Steak & Seafood within walking distance of hotel(s).
Friday - day of relaxation and touring Guymon. Burgers served by event host for dinner on main street.
Saturday poker run through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas. The ride map is attached to the agenda below. 1st place highest hand wins $3000, 2nd place wins $1500, and 3rd place wins $1000.
Sunday - return home
