Valles Caldera/Jemez Picnic Lunch After Meeting Ride

We will meet at 9 o’clock after the monthly MTRA meeting. Briefing will be at 9:15 with KSU at 9:30. We will leave the Marriott and catch Paseo del Norte where we will head east to Tramway. From Tramway, we will travel south to Central and take north 14 all the way to Highway 599 going around Santa Fe. We will get onto Highway 84/285 and stop at the Sinclair gas station in Pojoaque. At this point it will be 93 miles and roughly one and a half hours. Leaving the Sinclair around 11:30, we will travel to White Rock catching Highway 502 to Highway 4. From White Rock, we will go to Father Fitzgerald Memorial Park, which is roughly 64 miles arriving at the park around 12:30-1:00. We will spend an hour here eating our picnic lunch. Leaving the Father Fitzgerald Memorial Park around 2:00, we will continue on highway 4 to Highway 550 into Albuquerque arriving between 3:00-3:30.
