Grand Staircase-Escalante Motorcycle Expedition

Get ready to rev those engines for our 6-day Grand Staircase-Escalante odyssey! We kick off on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Warrior Fuel II (1005 US-550, Bernalillo, NM 87004).1 This is a 100% pavement-only tour—so your chrome stays shiny and your kidneys stay exactly where nature intended.

• Day 1 (June 27): Bernalillo to Cortez. We’ll visit Mesa Verde, where the Ancestral Puebloans built the original "high-rise" apartments into cliffs long before modern contractors made it complicated. 239 Miles.
• Day 2 (June 28): Ride to Mexican Hat. We’ll selfie with Monument Valley’s monoliths. This is John Wayne country; try to look rugged in your gear. 146 Miles.
• Day 3 (June 29): Mexican Hat to Escalante. We’re swapping the terrifying gravel of Moki Dugway for the silky-smooth asphalt of the Bicentennial Highway.2 Your suspension will thank us. 286 Miles.
• Day 4 (June 30): A day of rest in Escalante. We’ll keep the ride under 100 miles so you can actually enjoy the scenery without needing a chiropractor. 80 Miles.
• Day 5 (July 1): We head for Gallup through the heart of the Navajo Nation. We’re staying at the legendary El Rancho, where Hollywood stars once hid from their agents. 454 Miles.
• Day 6 (July 2): Disregard the "No Interstate" rule! It’s a straight-shot sprint down I-40 back to the Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque for a Dairy Queen and a debrief. 120 Miles.
