Honoring Jorge Uribe – A Call for Community Support at Arraignment

As many of you may already know, our fellow Meetup member and cherished member of the local motorcycling community, Jorge Uribe, was tragically killed last Monday in what authorities say was an act of intentional violence by a driver whose actions have shaken us all.

Jorge's presence on every ride made a difference. He carried a warm and generous spirit, radiating kindness and making each person feel seen and welcome. Jorge had a quiet but powerful way of making others feel valued — and his absence is being deeply felt by all who rode with him or were lucky enough to cross his path.

I understand that memorial events will be planned in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, we invite everyone who is able to attend the arraignment of the driver who took Jorge’s life. Your presence will send a strong message to the court and the District Attorney’s office about the profound impact of Jorge’s loss on our community. Let’s show that Jorge mattered — not just as a statistic, but as a beloved friend, rider, and human being.
