Come out for a day trip to Capers Island. We will meet at the Gadsdenville Public Boat Landing and make our way to Capers Island. It's about 3 miles to the beach. We'll spend a few hours at Capers to wait for the tide shift, so please bring plenty of water and food/snacks.

Donโ€™t forget to bring your floatation device (required by law) and sunscreen. All paddling vessels are welcome. Hope to see you on the water!

Please update your RSVP if you are unable to attend.

If you need to rent, check out Sealand Adventure Sports on Sullivan's. They rent and will deliver the board to you for a fee if needed. If you are able to transport a board, you can also rent from Nature's Adventure & Coastal Expedition on Shem Creek (check if they will allow you to take the board somewhere other than Shem Creek This may have changed) or Half Moon Outfitters on Coleman Blvd.

Please note that we are a group of people getting together who enjoy paddling. You are responsible for your own equipment and safety. If you have concerns about conditions, please ask. We try to take the weather, wind, and tide into consideration when planning a paddle, but nature is unpredictable. Please use your own judgment. Thank you. We appreciate all who come out to join us!
