Mountain Cathedrals Hike - Aluminum Yucca and Eye of the Sandias area

** This is a location change due to poor trail conditions on the original route **
Please join us at 8:30 AM in the St. Johns East Parking Lot to carpool to the South Foothills Trail 365 Access Point, from which we will hike parts of the open space in the Sandia foothills north of I-40. Highlights will include the Aluminum Yucca so visible above the Interstate, and the hill country leading up to the Eye of the Sandias. The exact route will depend on what I find on my check-hike later this week and the group's wants and capabilities. Plan to be back at St. John's by 2:00. Bring lunch, water, sun protection.
The next Mountain Cathedrals hike will be March 14.
