Mountain Jew is a private social community for Jewish adults in the Bay Area, with events and programming designed for people in their 20s and 30s — students, interns, and young professionals alike.
We gather events from across the local Jewish ecosystem — social, cultural, holiday, outdoors, volunteering, and more — and post them all in one place so you never miss out. Think of it as your Jewish events radar: one calendar, many communities, zero FOMO.
Who this group is for Jews make up less than 0.2% of the world's population, so spaces where we can find each other are rare and meaningful. Membership is reserved for members of the Jewish community — if that's not you, we're glad you found us, and we thank you for helping keep this space what it is.
What we're about Friendship, culture, and celebration — Shabbat dinners, hikes, holidays, and your next great night out. We're a social community, not a political one: our members come from every background, observance level, and corner of the world, and we keep politics and debate off the calendar so this stays a warm, easy place to just be.
