Capitol to Snowmass

The purpose of this event is to cross the ridge traverse between Capitol and Snowmass in early September.

The current forecasted draft plan is to hike into Capitol lake and camp, Summit Capitol Peak early the next morning, complete the ridge traverse to Snowmass, descend to the Geneva Lake area via Snowmass's West Slope route and either depart from the Lead King Basin Trailhead that day, or camp near Geneva Lake and depart the next morning out of Lead King Basin. Planning for a 2 or 3 day event.
