### New Year, New Friends: Inaugural Coffee & Market Discovery Stroll

Kick off 2026 with community and calm! If your New Year’s resolution involves meeting new people, supporting local farmers, or just spending more time outdoors, come join our first official walk of the year. We are a new group dedicated to exploring the hidden gems of downtown Mountain View.

The "New Year" Itinerary:

• 10:00 AM – The First Cup: We’ll meet at Red Rock to grab a morning brew and share our goals (or just our favorite coffee orders!) for the year ahead.
• 10:45 AM – Fresh Starts at the Market: We’ll head over to the Mountain View Farmers Market. It’s the perfect time to grab healthy, seasonal California produce for your January meal prep or just enjoy the fresh air.
• 11:30 AM – Downtown Discovery: We’ll wander down Castro Street. Whether you need some "retail therapy" at Therapy Stores or a soul-soothing visit to Books Inc., there’s something for everyone.
• 12:15 PM – Library & Mindful Moments: We’ll end at the Mountain View Public Library. We can browse the new arrivals or just enjoy the quiet architecture and take some pictures before heading home.

Why Join Us? This is a brand-new group, so almost everyone will be "the new person." It’s a low-pressure, friendly way to start your Sunday and your year.
Meeting Details:

• Where: Meet outside Red Rock Cafe (201 Castro St, Mountain View)
• Recognition: I’ll be in a grey puffer jacket with a red rose so you can easily spot me :) !
• Parking: The Hope/Villa garage is usually free and has plenty of space on Sundays.

What to bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes.
• A reusable tote bag for your farmers market finds.
• Some Cash as some vendors are "Cash only".
• A friendly, open attitude!
