🎃👻 Spooky & Fun Early Halloween Potluck Party 👻🎃

Greetings, ghouls and goblins! 🌟

The Mountain View Gay Men and Asians and Friends meetup groups are conjuring up an unforgettable Early Halloween Potluck Party on October 12th, 2024 from Noon to 5 PM. Get ready for a fa-boo-lous time filled with chillingly good food, wicked fun, and spine-tinglingly awesome company! Costumes are optional, but if you want to get into the spirit of things, we won’t stop you from brewing up something spooktacular! 🧛‍♂️🎃

🍽️ Boo-tiful Potluck Details:
• Bring a dish, you ghoulish chefs! Share your haunted recipes with the rest of us hungry monsters. Can’t bring food? Don’t fret, we won’t ghost you. Just contribute $10 instead. Otherwise, the fee for entry is only $5. 🎃🍴

• Beware of allergens 🕷️: If your dish contains any allergens like nuts, dairy, or gluten, please make it known so nobody ends up looking like a zombie for the wrong reasons. 💀👀

• Dish Assignments (based on your last name, not your ghost name):
A-G: Appetizers (we’re dying to start off with your spooky starters!)
H-N: Main Dishes (keep the monsters well-fed so they don’t get hangry!)
O-Z: Desserts (witches' fingers, spider cupcakes, or maybe some ghostly gooey treats?)

Please no snacks like crackers, chips, or raw veggies – we want real hauntingly good potluck food! 👻🍲

🎭 Costumes: Costumes are optional, but why wouldn’t you want to bewitch us with your creativity? Feel free to keep it simple or go all out like a vampire at a garlic-free buffet. 🧛‍♀️ We’ll be thrilled either way!

👻 Halloween Fun Ideas: • Costume Contest! 🏆 Let's crown the most fang-tastic costume of the day! No pressure if you're not dressed up, but if you are, there’s a cauldron of pride waiting for you. • Witchy Trivia! 🧙 Test your knowledge on all things spooky with some Halloween-themed trivia – winner gets eternal bragging rights (or at least until next year).

🍸 Beware the brew: If you plan to indulge in some witch’s brew (aka adult beverages), please summon a designated driver or call upon ride-sharing magic. Let’s keep the haunts happy and safe. 🦇

🚉 Public Transportation: The Mountain View Caltrain Station is just a short, spooky 10-minute walk from the venue, perfect for witches on foot or ghouls on broomsticks! 🚶‍♀️

🅿️ Parking: There’s plenty of free parking, so even the Headless Horseman can find a spot. If you’re feeling too spirited (or have too much spirit), leave your car and come back to fetch it the next day – no tricks, just treats! 🏎️💨

🏠 Location: The haunted lair’s exact address will be sent out to everyone who RSVPs as we get closer to the date.

📋 RSVP: Remember to RSVP on only one of your group’s meetup pages – Mountain View Gay Men or Asians and Friends. Doubling up on RSVPs could confuse our ghosts in charge. 👻
