Why do people emotionally eat? Trigger --> unsatisfied need --> eat
Sometimes, it becomes our first "go-to".
Let's explore additional activities and foods. We have such a supportive group of phenomenal women, I am confident that we will leave with a full arsenal.
Guidelines for the group:
- Please have your cameras on - we love to see faces and want you to know that you are seen, as well as provide a safe space to share
- Speak from your own experience
- Refrain from using numbers (calories, weight, etc). Numbers lead to comparison and we are here to support.
- Refrain from specific foods, instead say "comfort foods", "safe foods", "trigger foods" etc,
- Please limit share to two-minutes so we all have an opportunity to share.

Session Details:
- Duration 1 - 1 hour session together
- Self-sabotage isn’t you working against yourself.

Growth doesn’t come from stronger rules—it comes from understanding the need beneath the behavior.

- Time for discussion and heart shares, as we navigate this often lonely path to full healing and self-acceptance.
- Safe space to get support and celebrate our victories together.
Sessions are led by Kathy Salata - intuitive eating counselor, educator and lived experience with an eating disorder.
