Its time for the nastiest sub-12 mile route anywhere this side of four hundred miles. Lots of chunk, a couple of big climbs, and yes rocks.

Note the 5pm start time. The next four weeks will be the same start time due to my work schedule. We will drop back to 6pm or so for the four weeks that follow.

This is not a ride for beginners or even budding intermediates. The terrain is rocky, dangerous, difficult. This is a drop ride meaning that if you are unable to keep pace, you may be left behind.

Helmet, hydration, a well tuned bike suitable for the backcountry, stuff to fix it with, as well as a good attitude are required.

If the well-tuned part of the mtn bike isn't working for you, take it to Steve at Texas Cycle Werks and he will fix it.

See you guys there!
