This is not a ride for beginners or even budding intermediates. The terrain is rocky, dangerous, difficult. This is a drop ride meaning that if you are unable to keep pace, you may be left behind.
Route to be determined, but it will be very technically challenging. It's my day off so we will probably ride till dark. Bring a bail-out light just in case if you have one.
Helmet, hydration, a well tuned bike suitable for the backcountry, stuff to fix it with, as well as a good attitude are required.
If the well-tuned part of the mtn bike isn't working for you, take it to Steve at Texas Cycle Werks and he will fix it.
