Volunteer benefits (besides a lot of fun and some great riding!):

• Complimentary park entry fees for all volunteers.

• One night complimentary camping for each day of scheduled volunteer work.

• Awesome PBR tee shirt.

• Sack lunches on the days worked.

• Potluck dinner Saturday night.

Examples of volunteer duties include:

Volunteer tent - set up booth, sell t-shirts, sign out radios, etc.

Expo activities/set up - monitor vehicle entry into expo area, direct RV campers to their assigned site, assist teams and sponsors in locating space to set up team tents and exhibits, help set up podium, awards, and neutral feed areas, put up signage, assist with KidsKup and other activities in the expo area, etc.

Leg marking/water hand ups/sweeps - mark legs at start line, assist with water hand ups at neutral feed zone, sweep Junior and Cat 3 races (optional), assist with clean up of feed zone area.

Scoring and awards - assist officials by writing down finishers' bib numbers, assist announcer by providing finisher names, assist with distributing awards, assist with clean up of finish line/expo area.

Course marshals - monitor race, report injuries or other safety issues. Most course marshals will travel to their post by bike.

All volunteers should bring a camp chair, sunscreen, hat, and 80+ oz water.
